Mood Board : Un Certain Je-Ne-Sais-Quoi
The inspiration phase is, admittedly, one of my absolute favourite parts of the design process. At this stage in the design game, we've taken endless possibilities & narrowed them down to an overall feeling, evoked by a simple collage of heartfelt imagery that embodies the brand story.
This project in particular is near and dear to my heart, and I'll be sharing the different stages of it over the next few weeks. It was particularly fun to mix classic typefaces with hand-lettered charm, and add a certain je-ne-sais-quoi to the mix. This mood board is a sneak peak into that classic, beautiful juxtaposition.
In a world of visual clutter, simplification and minimalism are crucial. An avid digital hoarder, I've been gradually forcing myself to undergo a cleanse of old files and memories in the interest of preparing a blank canvas for the next phase of my business. Take it from me, eliminating clutter is one of the best things you can do to alleviate unnecessary stress in your life.
