Long Bio

Andréa Crofts is a product design leader with a deep love for creating exceptional human-centered experiences. She has designed countless digital products for companies including Wealthsimple, RBC Royal Bank, and World Vision. She also has a penchant for drawing expletives in elegant hand lettering.

With a Bachelor of Design from Ryerson University, Andréa has touched and released countless digital products in varying capacities. Her career started with a stint spent dabbling in front-end code at HackerYou, transitioned to a crash course in Product design in the real world at TWG, involved growing the design team at League, and now she hangs her hat at Metalab as a Design Lead.

In addition to wading in pixels, she has co-organized and spoken at a number of events in Toronto's design & tech community, from FITC to UXR Collective. She has also served as Marketing Director for Ryerson University's annual TEDx conference, and hosts quarterly meetups for women and non-binary folks in UX Design as a Chapter Lead for Hexagon UX Toronto.
